Recently emerging situations in the global investment activities have urged and encouraged the two-year (four semesters) International Trade Management Program of the Vocational School of Çankaya University. Turkey’s interactive capability in trading with global partners has been increasing immensely since the 1980’s. An emerging market itself, Turkey has been offering high quality goods and services to the world markets where well-qualified professionals are required continuously.
International Trade Management Program offers to students interdisciplinary training in legal, political, financial, economic and cultural aspects of international trade, with the acquisition of which the students develop themselves into professionals of the sector.
The main objective of the program is to supply the students with academic and practical capability by which the students can master in fields like international business, international economics and finance, international marketing and research, international law, and other branches related to international trade activities. Taking into consideration the importance of cultural interaction in trade relations, the program offers courses that will enable students to function effectively in foreign cultural environments.
The program is supported by job training in order to achieve trade practices and to train students by offering them broad knowledge of foreign trade practices, international financial markets, and government regulations. To improve students’ ability, advanced computer technology and managerial skills are included to meet the expectations of both domestic and international trade organizations.
